It should show Reflectance and Transparency on Materials, I don't know why it doesn't.
Say you wanted.. Some Transparent ice, like, It's thin, and you can see through it.
Your gonna want the Transparency to be about 0.4-0.6, and Reflectance at 0.1-0.2 (This is just an example) But if you put that, you can't actually see it with the Ice Material on, and you should be able to see it.
What do you think? |

Lol soth
But atleast it wasn't Windows fault it was mine :#
Windows tried to protect me :3
I'm letting my prossesor cool down a bit before I overclock it again.. And this time I'm overclocking it by less of a boost to ensure it doesn't happen again. Say, 10%? |

And in a completly unrealated topic:
My graphics card gets hot enough to boil water :3
Usually about 107-117 degrees celsius when playing one of normal games (Other than ROBLOX) :3 |

cobalt10Join Date: 2008-07-21 Post Count: 7371 |
=D
Maybe becasue I have 2 monitors and run Crysis WARS at max settings with my GPU overclocked would be the reason for it starting to burn a hole in teh back of my PC :3 |

not a bad idea, imagine what transparent metal looks like? It may look interesting. :P |
|
KyonehJoin Date: 2008-07-05 Post Count: 1769 |
Or transparent wood. xD |
|
|
Transparent wood can be cool looking, and curroded metal would look like dirty glassware :D |

After Aug 17, the devs should work on this immediately. But before then, they're working way to hard on too many big things. It'll happen guys, just give it some time.
;) |

I been saying the samething over and over all this month :P |

RAWR!
I APPROVE OF THIS IDEA!
I know I said it before but still :3
And transparent metals would REALLY help Sci-Fi games =D |
|
|
More than Sci-Fi, maybe other genres can find use in that too! Horror can have dirty windows to make it harder to see outside, adventure for those swampy grass that needs some water looks, and other things you can think of. I'm just saying... :] |
