ROBLOX needs a rubber material that grips better buy not like adding friction that slows down and slows turnind just more grip

Yeah, I support. We need to be able to drive over brick piles and not fly into the air reaching 123590 speed.

You know, if ROBLOX added softer tires (Tires that can be pressed down on) that would really help. Liquid and gas. They should be added too, so we can make some real cars with real car engineering, as in burning gasoline and oxygen = explosion = pushes piston up = drives flywheel = drives car wheel. Liquid should have weight, and gas should be able to push things up. That way hydraulics and steam engines are possible. And liquid goes in the form of the container (which is very useful.)

There are rumors that there's gonna be a new OGRE engine capable of supporting liquids, which means density, which means soft bricks! However, it's only capable; they might not add it at all.

And plus half of the time you go up a steep ramp you fly off into the distant horizon at 2000 sph (studs per hour.) They need grip, or cars will never be able to go up steep ramps.

Also if you just want lots of friction on the outside edges, then its totally scriptable.
Vultraz
#32060773Thursday, August 19, 2010 7:28 PM GMT

Outside edges of a wheel? IDIOT. What they mean by non-friction is a hovercar. What they mean by friction is a car that has wheels that goes very slowly. What they mean by TIRE is something that goes around the wheels. What a tire is made of is rubber. Why rubber is used for the tires is because IT HAS SOME FREAKING GRIP ON THE GROUND!

So do bricks if you crank up the Friction value. ~Make music, not war!~
