After voting recently in the interns contest, I relized that the voting and submission of places for contest is flawed. Mostly though the voting is only messed up by the the flawed contest entrys. For one thing I see way to many off - topic places entered in contests. I fail to see how "Nubcaik22134567's Christmas obby" (Example) qualifies for the "Build the best school" contest. Anyone can add "Best school contest" and "+5 Points if voted for!" to they're empty baseplate. That brings me to the nest topic, the whole "+ So many points if you play" deal. This gets alot of places free votes without even judging the places and can be avoided in a simple fashion.
Now for some ways these problems can be fixed. For contest entrys, give a 2-3 day heads up for submitting places. Not only does this give more time for people to work on they're places, but it also allows the opportunity of some slight moderation on what goes into the contest. On the same not you could prevent certain phrases such as "+1(2,3,4,5)","point","voted" and others to be used in contest places.

You see, that's the point. People need to earn the hats not just spam them. There are many people who work very hard to get those hats and why should someone else just be able to walk up and snatch it out of there hands? |

See? I am not the only person who cares here. Also I would like to mention that the winners are always carbon copies of the same places with small differences. I suspect one person uses a free modle to make it to the top, and when people see that place is popular they add the same modle. Possibly prevent use of free modles in contests? But that would be unfair to many people who rely on free modles for scripts so I dont know. |

Support. I had 89% accuracy, then I vote for a really good place. -5, what the heck? Then I vote for another good place, ANOTHER -5. The thing is, we only get +1 or +2. NO +5. Thats TOTALLY unfair. |

I vote for a really good place that's better then the other for example, i vote for a place filled with stuff that arn't free models and the other one is just a empty baseplate, i vote for the one with lots of stuff in it and i get a -5 or -3 or whatever,it's way better then the other place, thats why i stopped voting, it's really messed up.. |

Also I tend to vote for the ones that stand out but because those dont have as many votes as the copys the little home-brewed ones that had effort put into them don't win anything.

Lol, its so flawd it would be better off being removed. You have to remember that all the contest entries are free-models. Nowadays only noobs bother to do contests because all the people who actually built something end up with a bad score, while the free-modeled place wins. I don't know why, it just happens. I've never seen a REAL place win the contests. All of them have been 100% free-models stuck onto a baseplate. I also laugh at all the noobs who want the free hats from the contests. Its not like your getting anything out of them. If you havn't noticed those hats are the ugliest ever seen. Mainly because ROBLOX wants people to buy ROBUX or BC so they can buy good hats, but thats another flaw in the ROBLOX community to be discussed some other time. Anyways, I support this, but more extremely, I think they should just REMOVE CONTESTS! >:) |

I didnt read all the post before this one so what im saying may have been said.
I agree with you all the way a heads up before the contest starts would let alot of people actaully build somthing for the contest. i used to build original places for contests but by the time i entered it people were only voting for the places with the same free models in them that they know they will get a + for allso the point system is messed up when your low on accuracy you get+5 alot but when your high accuracy you get -5 alot or +0 alot a good way to fix this problem is get rid of the +0
it makes it nearly imposible for me to catch my acurracy back up if i chose the wrong place there more to say but ill let other posters have a chance to add there 5 cents |
