I'm all for it! A handful of us are capable of simple/complicated animating, and Animated GIF ads would be a great way to show the world, let alone get lots of clicks.

No. Can cause seizure or it can be used for a screamer.

GIFs don't make sound, so how could it be used for a screamer? Also, this could work if moderation were to improve.

Most of these people have a point, but i'll go with the idea that doesn't get Roblox sued...lol...

If this got implemented, I'm pretty sure Roblox would take care to not get sued.

Animated GIFs are entirely silent, rendering screamers almost impossible, except for those lighthearted. And there IS a report button below every ad. As for flashy light animations, they could block any GIF ad with a frame count between 2-10. Problems = solved.

A screamer doesn't have to actually scream, just have a scary pic.

@DuckyRoanNubbles, A report button won't stop seizrues when the seizure had already took place.

I said they could reject ads with frame counts between 2-10. Since a GIF is looped, a seizure ad only has about that frame count, and if it has more those ones with more will get stomped out by image moderation. When I mentioned a report I meant for scary ads.

10 frames is more than enough to have a seizure.

Ahhem. When a person makes a flashy light animation, they rarely use more than 10 frames. Because it will loop over and over and over instead of stopping when it gets to the end. And if one slips by the frame limit by using more frames, image mods will catch it and put it in their BADANIMATIONS collection.

This should be a possible feature because as most Non-Subscribers see, there are Animated Ads, well they do lead to places outside of ROBLOX, but still.

If they block something between 2-10 frames, what would be the point? - Thread Killer
