I awoke the next morning to sirens. I looked across the street, and saw a girl being brought to an ambulance on a stretcher. She was one of the girls I saw yesterday. Maybe I could find out what happened... I hoped on my scooter, because I was faster on it than my bicycle. I never liked bike-riding, anyway, I thought as I trailed the ambulance, keeping to the sidewalk. |
