(Well, she has important things to do. You'll meet up with her in like... one town.)
You walk around the town. There are a lot of buildings, a few appear to be older, possibly from the original culture. The Gym has a note on its door: "Off to Sea, Be back soon."
You go to the Pokemon center and heal your Pokemon. Now what? |

"Beats me." The person replies. "I only recently moved here. You would have better luck asking somebody who lived here before." |

If not ask the nurse. |

"You should check some of those older houses." He replies. "They probably were built before the natives allowed us to come." |

You knock on the door, and an Old Woman comes.
"What is it?" She asks in a frail voice. |

"Do you know about the region?" I ask her. "Or someone who does?" |

"Why yes, I do." She says. "Come inside, and I'll tell you." |

The woman sits at a table, and you sit across from her.
"Let me tell you about the region..." She says.

"Long ago, when I was only a child, there was almost no civilization on these islands, save it for a few villages here and there. The Pokemon were diverse, and they lived in unison with us. We weren't their trainers, we were their friends. Everything was going nicely, and our Pokemon protector was proud of us. It created two beings, one of Life, and the other of Death. These beings worked together to create, and end adventures. Unfortunately, one day, our Protector was angry at us, and he created a demonic being, known as Shadishan. Shadishan would torture whoever it came across, to the point that people were occasionally found unconscious in the wild. Shadishan is still around today, and he will attack unwary travelers when night falls. The two beings of Life, and Death did not like this, so they created an additional four beings.
Blazishan; of the Summer,
Terishan; of the Fall,
Aquishan; of the Winter, and
Hurishan; of the Spring.
These four being worked together to protect us from Shadishan, and have done so ever since."
