Well, that's not exactly true, that animes have to be from Japan to be called animes. Anime is simply the short (slightly modified) form of saying "animation". So I would say that pretty much any show that is animated can be called an "anime". |

Avatar didn't come from Japan, but it's still considered an anime. Therefore, it obviously doesn't HAVE to be from Japan to be qualified as an "anime". THEREfore, your statement is invalid. :3 |
