Kassandra
I looked between them, not knowing what I could and couldn't say. I settled on asking Azon my questions later, sitting back in my seat. |

Ilooked aorund the cab and within several minutes we were at my parent's house. "Thanks for the ride Dan." I said, handing money to him, but he gave it back. "No worries fiend. You get free rides from me." he said. I grinned. "Thanks again." I siad, getting out and offering Kassandra help to get out. |

I smiled at the driver, nodding, and took Azon's hand to get out. "Thank you," I said softly as I stood, still not used to the Florida air. I turned. "So this is your parent's house?" |

"The correct term would be Villa, but we all call it house and yes, it is." I siad, smiling. I heard the front door open then close. I looked towards the door, hearing a roll then there was a fifty cal sniper barrel right in my face. I knew who the welcoming party was... "Dad..." I said calmly. "S..Son?" He said, shakily, dropping his gun. "Why? How? Who? When?" He asked, horrified. I sighed. "No... It's not oyu. Your not my son!" He yelled at me. I grinned. I saw his gun raise again. I rolled behind him and disarmed him and held his arms down, ,behind his back. "Could anyone other than your son do this?" I asked, hearing my dad weep. "Why did this happen to you? I thought you could win the war and come ack a hero.." I heard him say. I releades his arms and saw his tears hitting the ground. Wow... he never cried. |

I turned and looked at them. I had never seen anything so sad in my life. I felt the tears rolling down my cheeks. I was speechless, deciding this wasn't the right moment to say anything. |

"I'll give you some time to take this al in before I tell you the story Dad. I don't want you to be sorrowful for the rest of your life. Tell mother, sister and brother." |

I gave Azon a questioning look, curious. |

I watched my father walk back into the house. "Yes?" I asked Kassandra withough looking at her. I had closed my eyes and started taking deep breaths. |

I stood beside him, my hand on his arm. "Your father will understand," I said, "Just give him time." I sighed, chaging the subject, trying to ease his grief. "What was your name?" I asked, "When you were human?" |

"My name was Alec..." I siad, glancing down. "My father is going to need quite a bit of time to get used to me." I muttered. |
|

Kassandra
I frowned. "What about your siblings?" I asked. |

"They might take it better, I don't know. They won't belive a word my dad says until the..." I was interupted by my younger brother rushing out then stopping, staring at me. I felt his eyes digging into me. I felt another set of eyes on me and saw my older sister on the porch, silently observing. |

I followed Azon's gaze to a younger boy, who had a slight resemblence to his brother, despite being human. I looked between the two of them, not quite sure what would happen. |

I walked up to my oyunger brother. "Hey Owen.. It's me, Alec. I know I'm physically changed, but I'm still your caring older brother." I said, a small smile on my face. I saw him look up at me. |

I watched the exchange in silence, not sure what to expect. I felt a bit worried, and I hoped Owen's reaction would be a good one. |

I heard my brother cry a little, tears streaming down his face. "Why did they do this to you Alec? Why?" He cried at me. "It was at the begining of the war, or the middle. They needed human soldiers or civilians to convert to thier race. But, hey, it's okay." I said, comfortingly. I saw Owen smile and I smiled. |

I frowned, seeing the boy cry. I slowly approached them. "Owen," I said, "We have switched tactics. We no longer recruit and change humans, and we regret doing so in the first place...." I looked at Azon, or Alec, and then back to Owen, and held out my hand. "I'm Kassandra," I said. |

I looked back at big sis, seeing that she wasn't on the porch. I saw that she was standing next to Alec, a hand on his shoulder, a single tear straing down her cheek. That was a first. |

I looked back to Azon, and saw a girl standing next to him. I looked at him questioningly, not sure if I should say anything.
(How old are these siblings?) |

(the sister is like 25-30 and Owen is like 16-18.)
Alec
"This is the first time you have shed a tear in so long, Zoe." I siad, standing up. |
|
|
Kassandra
As I had earlier, I stayed back and kept my distance until it was appropriate to come in. I gave Owen a small smile, and watched the conversation between Zoe and Alec. |

I heard Zoe mutter something and I smiled. "It's nice to see you after so long." |

I waited in silence, starting to space out, thinking of my nightmare. |
