By lift, I mean lift in aerodynamics terms. What this would be is definable lift integrated into the roblox physics engine. It would seriously improve the ballistics simulation capabilities of the engine. Youd be able to make ramps that worked well because the vehicles wouldnt just unrealisticly fall out of the sky after two seconds because of the lack of definable lift!

Anyone like this idea? Itd make for cool rockets and the like. You could even be able to glide planes with the engine off, until it reaches its stall speed of course, and falls out of the sky.

I like it how everyone seems to be ignoring a thread suggesting what would be one of the best additions to roblox ever, but not ignoring threads suggesting free BC.

Oh, come on, doesnt anyone want to be able to fly really easily, by just launching a plane off a conveyer belt? You wouldnt have to work with tools or vehicle seats.

we only have rectangular prisms. The air wouldn't flow easily past the bricks.

Would it be a property? If so, I would think a float type(0 - 1). A big question is will the physics engine be able to support such a feature.

Support! And there's new prisims coming out! They are actual parts like PyramidPart.

Great idea! and jamie, we have wedge parts.

Better planes, realistic bullets, air ballons that don't require much scripting, oh this idea is great.

Someone should suggest this to Telamon on twitter.
