Think of it this way - people who like pop music never bother anybody. They exist in the music world simply to listen to music and give musicians money. They don't post hate comments on other songs, but they post love comments on songs they love. Do you ever see a pop music fan comment on a song that isn't pop?
Let's move their opposite - the Metalheads. It's true to most of us here that metal is better than pop, but with fans, it's the exact opposite. Whenever rap/pop is even mentioned near their precious metals, they get mad and end up in a super vulgar screaming match. These are the guys who completely organized a Justin Bieber hate day through YouTube comments just because they presumably hated his voice.
Now tell me - which of these 2 music fans seem like better people? |

I see a lot of "metalheads" bashing other metal bands.
So many Megadeth "fans" bashing Metallica, other way around.
If you hate them, then why talk about them so much? |

I have to admint, when I go to my Eminem songs, all people do is praise him and stuff.
And then I go to a metal song I may like, and all I see is comments saying how let REAL music live on, or screw that technological stuff.
I mean, metalheads are just violent. |

Metalheads are aggressive. But pop fans make absolutely no sense whatsoever. They'll go "u luv pop amit it". A metalhead will go "FOR THE LAST TIME I LIKE OZZY-FRICKEN-OSBOURNE." |

I'm a metalhead but I can respect other peoples' opinions. Not all metalheads start bashing pop or rap whenever it's mentioned.
And there are a few pop fans who go all-out on metal when it's mentioned.
It's not like all pop fans don't bash metal, and it's not like all metal fans bash pop. It's a mix, some people can respect opinions, others can't. |

I've been to many Youtube videos of the punk rock bands I listen to, and I see pop fan's comments like
"Utterly awful. They will never have the talent of Justin Beiber"
Or
"wtf?! green day is so much better than this crap dead kennedys dead kennedys just sound like old men singing crappy songs" |

I've never had a pop fan scream at me, but I've had some mainstream rap fans scream at me for unplugging their musical torture and putting in "Fame" at lunch with the new sound system. The Justin Bieber fan didn't scream at me though. You can't say that pop fans are better people, you can just say that they have very little aggression, volition, own opinions, and anything along the lines of that, which is usually a bad thing in my opinion. |

i disagree yes some metalheads can be that way but i have seen a few pop fans on youtube come and flame things like marilyn manson,ozzy ozbourne,nirvana and ozzy ozbourne although there are some sensible metal fans not all of them are violent [like me for example]
