Feathersong nodded and bounded out of the camp, her apprentice at her heels.
Grasspaw stared at Waterpool in disbelief. "What? How?" She stammered. All of a sudden, a light gray cat appeared beside Waterpool. Grasspaw recognized her at once. "The lake is in danger! Beware of the one who appears to stay loyal, and watch for the sign!" Grassfur dissapered.... |

Feathersong kept on track, heading towards Fourtrees. The she-cat suddenly halted, smelling rabbit. She instinctively crouched, and tracked her prey into the bushes. She killed it with a swift bite. She burried it under a bush, the she-cat would come back for it later... |

I sniffed the air. Promptly smelling a robin, I crouched and snuck up, I watched it and then, pouncing out, as it tried flying I scratched one wing and bit it's other hard, I fell hurt to the ground and I promptly bit it's neck. |

"Nice catch!" Feathersong praised through a mouthful of squirrel. Apparantly her apprentice was begining to shape up to be a fine warrior. FEathersong dropped the squirrel. "Alright, let's head back to camp." |

I darted out of my den and to the highledge, scrambling to catch my balance, because I almost fell off. I muttered to myself, "Still not used to this new camp."
I paused, then recited, "May ALL cats gather for an urgent clan meeting!"
"I recieved a message from Starclan that a kit is in danger. They're a kittypet, but scrambled away from their mother and twoleg. We HAVE to save it."
Murmurs rose from the cluster of cats.
Rainstar caught some of it: "starclan; kittypet; twolegs; right...; like that'll happen"
As soon as she figured out what they meant she interrupted the talking cats and screamed "A KIT IS A KIT, AND WE HAVE TO SAVE IT!" I paused. "Whitecloud, GO GET GRASSPAW!"

As soon as I heard Rainstar yell my name, my ears perked up and listened closely. "Go get Grasspaw" Simple. If I only knew where Grasspaw went.

"Ok." I said happily. It had been simple to catch land creatures, but birds were harder. Picking it up I headed towards camp.

Grasspaw bounded out of the medicine cat den. "You called?" She tilted her head and sat in the clearing.
Feathersong picked up her rabbit and the squirrel and made her way back to camp. As the pair pushed their way into the camp, Feathersong could see a clan meeting being held. |
