I kept walking towards Erix's tower, it was close now. It was when I was a quarter a mile away from it that I saw the footprints. The footprints were obviously made by something massive..with two feet. "What kind of animal could make these..?" I asked myself quietly. I sighed and decided to follow them, since they were heading towards Erix's tower anyway. |

I approached Erix's tower, I followed the footprints until I saw a peculiar ring of dirt.. almost.. charred looking. I knelt down and examined it, putting some in my hand and letting it slide through my fingers. "Burn marks.." I mumbled quietly. I stood up, looking towards the tower. The footprints continued. I followed them, they went until the start of the steps. I crept up them with my axe drawn. I waited for a few seconds before flinging open the doors and half jumping half rolling through them. |

Already Kin and the Travelers had left the main room, though there was clear evidence that they split up and went in seperate directions. One group went up the stairs, and the other group when another direction, towards the library. |

I waited, crouching on the ground. I looked around and saw no one, so it was safe to get up. I stood up and looked around the room, checking for any sign of someone being here. I saw signs that two people that had gone up the stairs and two had gone towards the library. I decided I would follow the ones heading for the library and started walking in that direction. |

As the imp and I walked farther, we saw a tower (or whatever) in front of us. "Should we go?" the little imp asked. "Yup.Might as well." I replied, and entered. |

I thought I heard sounds upstairs, so I went to inspect them...
Some say that small talk costs lives. This so happened when Paol said, "Man, I seem to be really hungry." and the Imp replied, "Imp, I am too." A nomadic tribe was trading with a merchant not far by when, with their ultrasensitive ears, heard that small talk. In their language, this was the worst insult imangiable. So, they killed the merchant and took his goods.
