If this is true, I'm grabbing my shotgun and going on a manhunt. The Canadian has a deathwish comparing himself to someone so much more talented than him. Kurt Cobain provided uncut material, almost entirely unedited, and he actually pitched into creating his own songs. Justin Bieber is apparently fruitier than I am, and that's saying something. |

Cobain, although he was a lyrical genious, and no disrespect to you Kurt, wherever you may be...
Cobain wasn't a very talented guitarist OR singer.
Everyone was blinded by his popularity. |

But, that was the reason for grunge. To sound different and to diverge from the norm, so it was a different sound that he provided. He may have lacked talent musically, but it was the sound that he provided that counted. |

Dave was what made me like the band, personally.
Nirvana just wasn't that good. They may have popularized Grunge, but still... |

Their music was at least pleasing to the ear in some way.
My favorite grunge bands, tops, were Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, and Sound Garden. |

I say Pearl Jam was the best Grunge band.
Also the most successful since Grunge died. |

Because Pearl Jam is a Diamond rock band. Their music conveys a message through actual talent and riffs that could give you an eargasm. |
