I watched silently. Daelyn stood up, the book in her hands. |
"What...Happened?" I groan. |
"We know as little as you..." Daelyn said. I nodded. |
"You killed a wizard and weird things happened..Like you fell down..." Daelyn said. |
"I don't know I ran over after that and helped you u-"
"Time froze and rewinded for a second..." I said. |
"that's it..." I said. That was all I remembered...Was it? I felt like more happened but I only remembered a little bit. |
"You're keeping something from me." I say. |
"I honestly don't remember..." I growled. |
"Alright then...But, I don't trust you." I say, turning to Daelyn expectantly. |
She was holding the book tightly to her chest with her eyes closed, listening to us fight.
(Hey don't forget the otehr threads you are on :P) |
(Dang my hypocraticalness!)
"Hello? Daelyn?" |
She looked up.
"...What?" |
"Can you tell me what happened since I fainted?" I ask. |
"i...Felt a little pain...Then nothing..." I said. |
"...no..." Daelyn said honestly. |
"Alright then." I say. "Well, let's return to the king with our results." |
Daelyn nodded and waited for me to go then she followed behind me. |
We start walking, and soon, we're at the palace. I go in, motioning for Daelyn and Daren to come in after me. |
I go into the throne room, bowing. "You're back?" The king says. I nod. "Let me speak to my daughter and her guard...Alone." He says. I bow, and reatreat, telling them that they're wanted inside. |
We went in. Daelyn was still holding the book. |
