You say a sentence in German and I'll say it back in English, or say a sentence in English and I'll translate it to German. BTW, can anyone tell me the alt codes to the umlaut a and u?

Ich wuensche fuer ein Apfel. :) And who said you had to use the umlauts? You know, you can type "ae" for the umlaut a, "oe" for the umlaut o, and "ue" for the umlaut u. And for the thing that looks like a B, called an eszat where I live, can be typed as "ss".

I don't even know the alt codes for a and u, but I have the keys for them on my keyboard... :/ Wuenschen means wish, in most cases.

Then the translation means: I want an apple.

A small lesson, nothing extremely in depth but basic knowledge... All NOUNS are capitalized. Verb conjugations follow suit with... and end with...: Ich [I]: -e Du [You]: -st Er [he]: -t Sie [she]: -t Wir [we]: -en Sie [they]: -en Some basic knowledge stuff.

I'm half German, know alot of the language but my spelling isn't good. I go there every year though, so I'm slowly learning even more. Here's some words and meanings: Ich beine durstig! I'm thirsty! ------------------------------ Wie ich weiß nicht viel Deutsch, wie Ich sagte im Forum, ich bin mit diesem blöden Übersetzer. Sorry, wenn es nicht genau! Aber, Ich weiß, einen angemessenen Betrag. Ich liebe Deutschland. As I don't know much German, like I said in the forum, I'm using this stupid translator. Sorry If it isn't accurate! But, I know a reasonable amount. I love Germany.
