Mine acts the same but when I click the "Play" button it starts and then it shows only the skybox! Not even the leaderboard shows! Then when I exit it says: " Would you like to save changes to place 1? " Then i say Yes or No, either way the " An error has occured while starting roblox" pops up. HELP!

It has happened to me too! Something really big pops up and says something that ROBLOX has had trouble opening it up with some error then it says 'Failed to read URL' and shows this really big url thing.

I think i know whats wrong, my mom helped me Go to whatever thing you have that checks for viruses and scan and whatnot(Mcafee, etc.) and see if it put a firewall on ROBLOX.

If you get an error that says, awApp.CreateInstance failed something happened to the Roblox files or Libraries, maybe they did not fully download or some kind of corruption. Best solution right now is to go to control panels, add and remove programs and uninstall Roblox. Then go back to roblox.com and get the latest version and let it reinstall. We looking at ways to Roblox auto-repair itself if this happens.

I found a fix to this. It's going to lag like you have a pentium 3 but if you want to play roblox don't play laggy games like robloxaville, k? open in roblox studio and play on. Internet explorer and there normal browser don't work I have the exact same error
