Zombie/Alien Disease Apocalypse while the zombies/aliens/infected evolve and the humans have to survive.
Doees that cover it all? |

Wow, all the ones you said that you didn't want I'm a pro at. |

I mean extraterrestrial contact, and such... arg..
*scratches off Alien and replaces it with Sci-Fi* |
Ah, okay. Well, war is normally one of the trappings of sci-fi. How can you expect eveyone to fly around in massive battleships with world-destroying weapons and not attack each other at any point? |
How about where you and a selected group of people get to try out the newest formula in plastic surgery and advanced genetic mutation as a trial, but it goes wrong...
It's like a thing where you can have imperfections fixed, everyone loves the scientists who make it, and it's a prize drawing for the new trial? |
kidneydone is onto something. We should expand on this.
First, we need a good setting. Should it be on Earth, or another planet? |
How about advaced Earth: 2123?
With holograms and laser pods to help everyday life. |
Yeah, but it needs to be slick, not cheesy. Y'know, like Mass Effect is slick, but Futurama is cheesy. See what I'm saying? |
I wouldn't go into detail on the EXACT area of the roleplay, like Alabama or something, but I'm picturing a scene like New York City on New Year's Eve, waiting for the ball to drop, except this time, it's a drawing for the genetics trial. |
Yeah. And like the winners get to tour the Genetics Station, have an awesome day, and then...the surgery. |

I think we should have it set is 01 A.A |
Hmm... Feels a little out-of-place considering where we're going with this. How about the scientists kidnap the 'winners' and force them to have the surgery whether they like it or not? But, y'know, the 'winners' thought they were going to win something completely different, like money or something. |

Maybe we could have a Trauma Center RP?
Possibly. But what I'm saying is like the Genetics Station has been around and ended many problems, and people love this. They can have surgery to fix anything from scars to bad hand-eye coordination. Since the Genetics Station is trusted, that what the prize would be, a trial through a new kind of 'surgery'. But I admit the scientists have to do something bad to the winners, either in the surgery or how they are just treated overall.

No, gamer, I'm not willing to drop this so soon. |
(my last post was the answer to NuclearTorpedo's suggestion) |
kidney, you are a genius. I like this a lot. I have to go soon, so would you do the honour of expanding this idea into a successful thread? |
I'll try. I don't want to copy, so I like to search the types of thread related to my topic and then expand. We'll see how this turns out. |

How about,
the scientist infect the winners with a new deadly disease, "Trinity", that in the vein of GUILT and Stigma from the Trauma Center Games, has several different types that make organisms that attemt to cause damage to organs and such? |

And the winners then go into society and spread it around.
The participants could be surgeons attempting to save as many people as they can in order to stop Trinity from killing hundreds of thousands of people? |
Well, in the original idea, kidney said something about genetic engineering. I think we should stick with that. |

Trinity could be genetically-engineered... and the virus may be intended to eliminate genetically unfit people, therefore in a way attempting to genetically engineer humanity. |

The RP is up! Check out Programmed to Perfection to see it in action. |
