I would like to point out some problems, and add some other ideas as well.
These places should have a minimum and maximun set amount of bricks that can be used, and a material limit (to prevent 'lag' on slower computers). Also, these places should NOT use scripts, because they make editing the place for a new user more complicated.
Instead of choosing just 1 winner, they could add, oh say, 5 into the currently existing preset list, the most popular being the first.
This all being said, I completely support this, and will attempt to gain the roblox communities attention of this thread. |

I completely agree with everything you said... except the "No Scripts" part. Honestly, giant bricks with decals saying what to do are obselete, and how would the players know if they're doing it correctly? |

As I said, the place can't have any free models AND has to be reviewed by the mods (because they know stuff the devs don't know)/devs(because they know stuff the mods don't know.)
You CAN enter the QUALIFICATION ROUND of the contest, but only 100 of the best places can get to the actual contest. |

There is some problems with this idea.
First of all I have to disagree with the requirements, why does the place need to be incredibly good scripted and C-Framed stuff? In my opinion that's not needed, as great places can be made without any of those.
Now, the problem I found most important, reviwing every place. I can't understand how are the admins/mods supposed to review EVERY SINGLE place that is entered in the contest, I'm sure they made the new contest system for that reason. |

First Paragraph Retort: The new contest system is FLAWED. TERRIBLY. And it has to be very-well scripted and C-framed because whoever gets to the top 100 vote would have to not only be able to script the place out for maximum helpfullness for the player, but ALSO excellent aestethics. (Which is where C-Framing comes in.)
Second Paragraph Retort: I said it'd take as long as it takes, whether it was a day or a year.

Well, I agree with the first part, but the second still doesn't convince me, as I'm sure that it would take months to review every place and most players wouldn't wait that long just to have the OPORTUNITY to advance to the second round. This statement is supported by the fact that (supposing that everyone actually waited for months) since only 100 places will advance, the chances of the player who entered a place of advancing are really low. |
