What program Should I Use For Making Vids?

Me and my friend (Starfall144) were going to make a few vids on youtube. My problem is....What program should i use? I tried CamStudio..but it wouldnt let me safe the vids. So...yeah =3

For filming, use something cheap like Ashampoo Snap 5 ($20). If you have an editing program that crops the image, use Fraps or something like that. For editing, use Sony Vegas or Adobe After Effects if you have them. You can also try using Windows Movie Maker if you don't have them.

above is correct. Camtasia. Thats what I use to film.
