It was dark, my mother was of course, dru.nk and asleep.
I smiled and ran out. I saw a guard and quickly hid around a corner. The gates were closing.
I quickly ran and dove under the gate before it closed.
I sighed in relief then ran. |

I was in a small hut, badly built.
"Oh, my head." I murmered to myself.
"Hey, hold still." I heard a voice say.
It was a badger! But not the one I met.
I screamed and apparently woke up another human in the hut.
