Seth slowly regained consciousness. When the blurriness evaporated in his eyes, he saw that he was in a plain, grey room. No windows, no doors, just an airvent that let a little light in. Seth shimmied up the wall and tilted his head to the airvent.
“And Calrin destroys another wave! This is amazing! Who’d ‘a thought such a scrawny little guy could do this much damage!”
“Calrin?” Seth pondered.
“Aaaaaaaand, that’s it! Calrin has one the first part of the challenge! Now, let’s see if he can survive one last huge fight against an army of mutants, and THEN face off against the Galaxy Rider!”
“Galaxy Rider? Mutants? Challenge? What’s going ON here?”
“But, lucky for Calrin, the big guys in the nice suits decided to give Calrin a little help. Say hello to our newest contestant! He’s saved his home city AND planet several times over. He’s faced more freaks than Ash Williams. Give it up for the one, the only, Seeeeeeeeth, Troweeeeeeeeez!!!”
The room holding Seth broke apart at the corners and split open like a pod. Seth was in a grassy plain, with cameras everywhere. There was an electric fence, acting as a perimeter to the battle. There was someone in the middle of the battle ground. Seth figured that must be Calrin.
“Ok, as much as I enjoyed finally getting a tasteful introduction, I seriously have no idea what’s going on…” Seth thought to himself. He sighed and leaped over the electric fence to join Calrin.
What Seth didn’t realize, is once you jumped over that fence, you belonged to them. |

Calrin set his repeating crossbow onto his back, behind his quiver of various arrows. I look at the new person coming in. "Ah, you must be the new guy. Hope you're ready for a battle." I take a dagger out of it's holster. |

"Always ready..." Seth chuckled, cracking his knuckels. He figured he'd find out where he was later, right now it looked like he was going to have to fight with this Calrin guy.
"Aaaaaaaaand, here comes the Tyractoids! Hope these guys don't have any meat on them! Oh, wait..." the announcer laughed.
Small little fossilized dinosaures started emerging from the ground. They had the build of a Tyranasaurus, but were the size of a raptor.
"That's new...sorta." Seth commented. He readied his fists and prepared for a fight as some of the Tyractoids started towards them. |

Calrin loads a black-powder tipped arrow magazine into the top of his repeating crossbow. "You'll need more than fists to kill these guys." Calrin tosses Seth his dagger. |

"Thanks, but I'm better empty-handed." Seth said, placing the dagger in a holster in his jeans.
One Tyrachnoid charged towards Seth in a frenzy. Seth flipped over the monster and landed on its tail, which snapped off its body and sent it tumbling to the ground. Seth flipped the tail up to his hands, turned, and smacked another charging monster with the tail, causing it's head to snap off.
"And that's why." Seth laughed. |

"Hm, good job." Calrin fired explosive arrows at a group of tyrachnoids, leaving scorch marks on the ground, and causing damage to all of the group. |

"Not too bad yourself. Only four more..."
One of the tyrachnoids charged at Seth. It quickly spun around and tried to swipe Seth with tis tail. Seth leaned back under the tail and leaped up ontop of the tyrachnoid. He held on to its chestplate with one hand and tried to twist its head with the other. Seth finally pulled the head off the tyrachnoids body. He jumped off the dead creature, threw the head in the air, and kicked it straight at another tyrachnoid. The skull knocked its legs off, causing it to become immobile. |

I notch a match onto my crossbow, and fire it at one of the creatures. |

Seth tackled the last Tyrachnoid to the ground, pulled his fist back and slammed it into its skull, breaking it. Seth stood back, spun around and stomped the chestplate, shattering it as well.
"Aaaaaaand that does it for this wave ladies and gentlemen! Now, for one last challenge here on planet Tyranoch, please welcome the fast, febile and furious, GALAXYYYYYYYY RIDEEEEEEER!" the announcer exclaimed.
Seth looked arond, puzzeled, until a shadow engulfed him and Calrin, He turned around , and saw a GINORMOUS ship flying over top them.
"This can't be good..." Seth commented, preparing for whatever was inside that ship. |
