The noises emnating from the galley drew my attention, and I head for it in a bee line, my blase at the ready.

A man-sized, grey spider was rummaging through the fridge. one of it's eyes looked at you, then it returned to it's task.

I blink and rub my eyes, my blase aimed squarely at one of the large spider's legs.

THe spider retrieved a soda can from the fridge, and sucked it dry with one of it's fangs. Closing the fridge, it paused as it set all ten of it's eyes upon the newcomer. it almost looked surprised, but made no move to retaliate.

"Can- can you understand me?" I ask, venturing out since the spider didn't attack.

( you have an occulus and he's a Tellamin, remember?) It appeared to have looked at you like you asked if faster than light travel makes you move faster than light.

(I'm not looking through the occulus, its put up over my ear, so I can't see it. I've no reason to be looking through it at the moment.) That look was too intelligent for me to put as mere spidery thing. I cautiously move my occulus down and then notice his aura. It was a Tellamin. I hadn't expected this, so I had left my stunner in the Aegis. "Who are you? I know you aren't that spidery thing."

Kerion "Now just to find someone who get get that nuke back on the Dawnblade."
Jinxy
#40821127Thursday, January 13, 2011 3:06 AM GMT

Luckily for Kerion, there was a nuke shop near by that could put the nukes onboard.

(...) Kerion "Well, looks like we solved that problem."

(I did something wrong...?)

#40822006Thursday, January 13, 2011 3:17 AM GMT

(It just strikes me as odd that nukes are so easy to find. Expensive yes but easy to find.)
Jinxy
#40822372Thursday, January 13, 2011 3:23 AM GMT

(It's space-age, theres things more powerful then nukes)
Kerion
#40822468Thursday, January 13, 2011 3:24 AM GMT

(I suppose. Anyhow these aren't big nukes... probably.)
Jinxy
#40822673Thursday, January 13, 2011 3:28 AM GMT

(Nukes aren't really that big unless their military issued)
Kerion
#40822833Thursday, January 13, 2011 3:30 AM GMT

(So like, 7 kiloton as opposed to 100 Megaton.)
Jinxy
#40822882Thursday, January 13, 2011 3:31 AM GMT

(yeah)
Kerion
#40823019Thursday, January 13, 2011 3:33 AM GMT

(So like: medium town instead of medium city or half of Kansas.)
Jinxy
#40823082Thursday, January 13, 2011 3:34 AM GMT

(Yeah, it would do damage to a ship)
Kerion
#40823309Thursday, January 13, 2011 3:38 AM GMT

(Well a nuke would wipe out something the size of the Dawnblade even with full shields.)
Jinxy
#40823446Thursday, January 13, 2011 3:40 AM GMT

(No, shielding capablities are strong enough that it wouldn't destroy the ship with just one nuke)
