An odd look came over me. What did Ace just say? I honestly couldn't hear her... I saw the ground speed to me or me to the ground and then things went black. The last sight I had was Bobina taking the guy that Ace had and her running away. |

I woke later. I sat up, moaning softly, rubbing my head, feeling some of my hair clotted with something. |

I grinned. This was, what, the... dang.. I forgot how many times I've nearly died..... "Yep, not yet. I'm not going down any time soon." |

I shrugged. "Probably..." I was going to ask Ace about what she said earlier, to find out what she said, but I just shut my mouth before saying anything. |

I stood, still not finding the confidence to ask Ace about what she said. I took a few steps, stumbling and catching myself on a tree, to balance myself. |
