I recently viewed this on the output.
Sun Dec 05 10:08:58 2010 - Start ChangeResolution
Sun Dec 05 10:08:58 2010 - Current screen resolution - 1680 x 1050
Sun Dec 05 10:08:58 2010 - Switched screen resolution to 16032280 x 15811432
Sun Dec 05 10:08:58 2010 - Done ChangeResolution
More specifically i was looking at this "Switched screen resolution to 16032280 x 15811432". I feel this is a technical issue as it has made the in-game building experience a horrible one. It makes a lot more sense why decals are ruined to no end when the screen resolution was jumping to 16032280 x 15811432.
Relative scaling would place a 200x200 picture being placed across the screen at 200X200 image on a 16032280 x 15811432 resolution rate would either shrink the decal to where its not visible, or scale it to where it looks like pixel art.
I hope the roblox admins will look into this, I'm not really sure we need a 16032280 x 15811432 resolution to play our games. |

True. 2048x2048 is just fine for ALL textures. |

2048x2048 is pretty big even, especially for ROBLOX.
ROBLOX would be fine with 1024x1024. |

512x512? Since OGRE 1.4.7 is weak. |

You should be fine with 420x420 pictures if you use the Texture format instead of the decal format. Plus with the texture format you can tile pictures without making tons of bricks. |

@TheEasterZombie
i think your completely missing the point. I'm not talking about just decals on bricks, I'm talking about your GUI screen as well. Making bigger pictures is just wasting space and if roblox would fix this then images everywhere would snap into high- quality. |

Smaller images are less messy, as a general rule... |

Not when you want to enlarge them.
Besides we are focusing on the Resolution issue, not what images do based on size.

Hm... To me that looks like the print of a script... |

It is. >_> when you switch to full screen mode it prints that off in the output
its not a "Print()" command though, its something roblox puts out from its background scripts. |

For now just don't switch to Fullscreen until we get a fix. |

>_> seriously man, are you just posting on threads for the sake of posting? cause thats against the rules.
this happens no matter what mode your in, you just don't see the output without switching. |

No, I'm not just posting for the sake of it, I'm just interested in some of the current ROBLOX glitches, and this one really interests me...
If I wanted to spam I'd just go to Forum Games. |
