Skyshorn, that greatest of Cities, orbiting high above the Continent of Kriegskampf. Kriegskampf means War's Struggle, and it is a fitting name, for Kriegskampf has struggled through much in the years it has been in existence. It was founded by a Pirate Crew from the far east, who had become lost during a storm, and it gained it's name after the Colonisation by the Maschinen from a Country far to the Northwest known as Volksfaust. They came on the Donnert, and wiped the Pirate Crew that inhabited Kriegskamp from existence, before naming it Krieg. The last part of the name came whenever the Marteau of the Country to the far southeast known as Sang. The Marteau almost forced the Kriegen into non-existance in a War that lasted for only Two Weeks, before disappearing back across the ocean. The Survivors then renamed Krieg as Kriegskampf, but it was not long before the Continent found more Suffering and Struggle, before Countries could even be laid down. From the Northern Wastes at the Pole of the World, the Ctankep fled from an unknown foe, taking refuge in a very bitter Kriegskampf. Tensions never had a chance to elevate, as the Threat followed, revealed to be an Ancient Deity that the Ctankep had awakened. It rampaged for Millennia, trapping Kriegskamp in a Dark Age, until it was sealed away. No one knows who or what sealed it away under Kriegskampf, but whoever, or whatever did it, is known as the 'Grania', literally, Saviour.
Skyshorn was built only a Decade ago, to watch over Kriegskampf as it started to form into an ordered Continent, with Countries and Communities. It seems that Kriegskampf may finally see peace.
But, once again, this peace is about to be cut short. An Ancient Artefact has been unearthed, bearing the Marks of both the Grania and the Deity. It is rumoured that this is part of the Blade wielded by the Grania in Myth, as it holds within it Supernatural Powers far beyond those of known Magic, as it unfolded, the bearer gaining Wings of Golden Light, before he was enveloped by Light, and disappeared, before the Blade reappeared nearby, embedded in a hill. Upon the top of the shattered, broken blade lay a skull, still smoking, with the mark of the Deity burned into it.
Across all of Kriegskampf, similar Objects were discovered. The Barrel of what appears to be some sort of Golden Handheld Cannon, the Blade of an Enormous Golden Battleaxe, the hilts of two Small Tarnished Gold Daggers, a viciously spiked Golden Gauntlet, still adorned with blood, and the broken pendant of a Necklace. All of them had similar effects to the sword, causing the bearer to grow some sort of Golden Adornment made of light, and gain supernatural powers, only to be killed, their smoking skull retrieved with the mark of the Deity. What is clear from this, is that the Grania either wielded Six Weapons, or, there were Six Grania.
And another thing is clear, whoever or whatever the Grania was or were, they must return, and their weapons must be reforged, for a Dark Rumour whispers throughout Kriegskampf, of an eye awaiting in the Darkness, watching and waiting, an eye bearing the mark of the Deity, awaiting the time when it can crawl free, and once again rule over Kriegskampf. And for the Deity to be stopped, Skyshorn must release it's secrets, secrets hidden deep within the Floating City, unseen by all but one, the Grania.
Kriegskampf's Struggle for Peace, is far from Over.
========================================================
Time: Medieval, but with a few modern things and a little Steampunk, such as Airships, and even some rudimentary Rifles and Machine Guns, although these are all Ancient Weapons that are very difficult to come by, operate, and find ammunition for.
========================================================
Setting: Kriegskampf, which is mostly Valleys, Mountains, Caves and Desert. Skyshorn is the main 'Hub' of sorts, a magnificent Floating City similar to the Floating City from Final Fantasy XII, if anyone can remember the name of it, but Skyshorn is kept aloft by Magic and Ancient Technology, not Crystals (Or whatever kept the City in FFXII aloft, I haven't played it in YEARS)

The Grania:
There were Six Grania. One wielded a Longsword, another wielded Two Revolvers. Another wielded an Enormous Battleaxe, yet another wielded Two Daggers. The last two fought with their Fists and Feet which were clad with spiked Gauntlets, and the last fought with Magic more powerful than had been seen before. What they all held in common was that their Weapons and Armour were Golden, and they all had amazing Powers beyond comprehension, that were inconceivable even through the Most Powerful Magics known today. They also had their own ways of flying, for example, the one that wielded the Longsword had Golden Wings of Light, and the one with the Revolvers had a Jetpack.
