Chapter 3: Taking Omaha I kept running, a bullet clipped my water canteen. Another bullet grazed my finger, skinning it. Still, I never stopped running. I looked behind me, and found that I was leading lots of men to the fort. I roared like a mad man, knowing this was survival of the fittest. Right beside me a man was shot in the pelvis. He fell to the ground, and was instantly shot again, this time, in the head. The man to my right was screaming "I AM THE ONE....I AM THE ONE..." Over and over again. That is, before he was hit by the bullet stream. At least ten other men were killed in the five minutes it took us to run there. We reached the bottom of the fort, and I looked up. The sky was normal, although we were in hell. "WE NEED TO SCALE THIS, ITS THE ONLY WAY TO ****** STAY ALIVE, AND GET THERE!!!" I yelled. The landing craft shot rocket propelled grappling hooks to the top of the cliff. (Look it up, they really did.) I grabbed the rope and started scaling the cliff. "CMON, FOLLOW ME!!!" I yelled, placing one foot after the other. I was not the first to reach the top. Half our unit was slaughtered when we all reached the top. I shot an enemy soldier in the chest, and another in the head. I suddenly felt a pain go through my body. It was a sharp, stabbing pain that made me fall to the ground, as my men continued on. I was covering my stomach with my left hand. When I lifted my hand, I found that I had been shot. I lay my head on the ground, and looked up at the sky. A cloud was drifting by, it was the first time id seen beauty in the sky. Every thing, every sound was blocked out. A tear went crossing across my cheek, as I looked at the cloud. For a moment, all was peaceful. I opened my mouth, and mouthed the word "Home..." as my world faded to black. I smiled, knowing I was a hero, in a way. Then it all was gone, everything was black. (Did he die or did he black out? Find out next chapter :3)

I hope the 4th chapter is dramatic! I can imagine it now! You wake up. Your vision is a bit blurry. You notice a medic is pushing on your chest. "STAY WITH ME, SOLDIER! DON'T YOU DIE ON ME!" The medic shouts over the sounds of guns and war cries. You try hard to keep your eyes open, but you can't. "SOLDIER! I'M NOT GONNA LET YOU DIE!! YOU'RE A **** GOOD SOLDIER!" The medic shouts.
