Crossroads, all life is, a bunch of different crossroads. All you do is choose which road you go down.
This Half-Life 2-based RP is set in City 21, one of the various Universal Union-controlled cities on Earth. The year is two-thousand-fifteen (2015) five years after the Seven Hour War. City 21 is located in Glasgow, Scotland, the former largest city in Scotland. Where UUCA (Universal Union Civil Authority) is high and almost unavoidable, just like in all other cities. The resistance is quiet, no real rebellions have been started. The smaller ones, have been destroyed almost immediatly. Those who still remain on Earth are mostly loyalists, those who have listened to the propaganda and the mind-altering, given bands to show their loyalty. An almost equal amount hate the Universal Union, though wish to still live, and stay in line. Though those who deny, those who do not follow the Universal Union, are the fewest, mostly as they die from being found out. So, which one will you choose? Follow their will, maybe even become one of them? Survive? Or will you deny? All this is up to you...
Metagaming and unseriousness (Total unseriousness unlimited amounts, partial is okay in small amounts.) WILL be an instant ban. First Offense: Hour ban with reinstitution session. Second: Permanent.
Trolling, flaming, spamming, or any other sort of attacking other members WILL be punished with an instant permanent ban.
Grammar, punctuation, and spelling matter, use spell check or review it at least once, please. No punishment, unless frequent.
Story Mode, only, nothing else. Hour-to-permenant ban.
In your backround, I DON'T want to see, "Former marine, best of class, genius, leader of all rebels.", all former members of armed forces HAVE been made an OTA (Overwatch Transhuman Arm.), and EVERYONE starts out as a citizen unless given authorization.
In your appearence, I don't want to see "Ripped, huge, young, 7'6", minigun on shoulder.", they starve you, they beat you, you get the point. Permenant ban.
No characters under eighteen, and no characters shorter than 5'3" or taller than 6'5" without permission from me and your character will be deleted if no permission is given.
Powergaming is looked down strongly upon. You will be banned for 30 minutes.
Absolutely, no celebrity, videogame, or foolish names. I don't want to see 'Gordon Freeman, Gordon Frohman, John Freeman,' etc. Or 'Will Smith, Tom Cruise' etc. One hour ban.
Keep real-world physics in this, if you're unsure about something, look it up. Explosions have shrapnel, bullets do not explode gas tanks, etc. We'll just annoy you about it, then ban.
