(Chapter ~ Glass helper)
(Recap of last time seeing the people shown: They were the people who met in the meeting room underwater. They thought that the group was dead, but clockwork saw them under the table and didnt say anything) Builderman sat at a TV screen, watching people running on an island. Clockwork burst into the room, panting loudly. "You called, sir?" "You betrayed me." Builderman said, scowling. "W-what?" "You heared me." "I don't know what you're talking abo-" "Don't lie to me!" Builderman screamed, turning around. Clockwork saw that he was sleep deprived, and insane. "You betrayed me, you lieing scum bag!" "Sir, I still don't kn-" "YOU helped the subjects escape!" "No, I didn't sir! You are horrible for what you did to them, they don't deserve it!" "It had to be done, Clockwork! We have to know how to defeat the-" "Sir, I know that, but do we have to do it without them knowing? Couldn't we have asked them? Or told them?" "But how would we know that they would act the same?" "I... I guess your right." Clockwork said, defeated. "Good. You can go now." Builderman said, ignoring him and going back to staring at the screens.
As Clockwork walked out the door, he grabbed the only REAL phone in the building. PayPhones were listened to by the admins. "Hey. No, its me. Remember that favor? No, its not that hard... well, yeah it is. I need you to go to the Test Island. Yeah. Uh huh. I will send a boat. But, why... Ok fine, I will send a CD of Ke$ha, too. No, I won't tell. Be safe." He hung up. |

So Builderman has gone crazy because Clockwork helped us, kinda, and they were also talking about things only I know. Clockwork called someone who will be shown later. (Chapter 27: Sweet Sorrow)
Megan woke up to a bright light. "W-what?" She mummbled. She turning to see a man standing behind her. "Who are you? How did I get here?" She asked him. He had a light robe, it covered his face in shadows. "You are in nil." he said in a voice like thunder, but not as scary. "But who are you?" "I am Nam redliub. You can call me Namred." "Okay? What is nil?" Megan asked, looking confuzed. "Nil is where the good players go when they get bloxxed. It is the relm between laying on the floor in pieces and respawning. It is the area outside of the skybox. Something happened down there that made you come here." Megan looked around as he spoke, seeing she was in an all white zone, but with floating windows. She saw other people walking about in the distance. "How do I get out of nil?" "There is no escape. No one who has come here ever gets out." He said, with a hint of sadness. "Can I see through the windows here?" "Yes, they show you the outside world. They let you see anywhere, or anyone." Megan ran to a window, and saw she was floating slightly. She looked back and saw she had wings. "Epic." she thought. She pressed her face to the glass of the window. She could see her friends. And hear them.
"Oh my gosh!! I killed Megan!!" Spartan screamed. "I will kill Dagger!! I swear I will!" Ninja walked over to him. "It wasn't your fault. You didn't mean to kill her." "It WAS my fault! And I know I didn't mean to, but I still did! I'm going to burn in BanLand for this!! And she is gone forever!" Spartan raved. "I COULD try to bring her back?" Erior said. "Try then!!" Spartan said despretly. "Here goes nothing..."
Back in Nil, Megan felt a harsh tug on her soul. Its hard to explain how that felt. It was like getting her insides waxxed. For a moment, she was back in her own body, laying on the floor. Her eyes flew open, and she tried to grab someone, anyone, really. Then she was back at the window. She felt more alone then she ever had. She pounded on the window with her fists, then her head. It didn't budge and inch. "LET ME GO BACK!" she screamed. It didn't work. They didn't even look over at her. "I WANT TO GO BACK!!!" she yelled at the top of her lungs, with tears streaming down her face. She felt a hand on her arm. It pulled her away from the window. "Its allright, child." said Namred. No one could see it, but he was crying, too. He had done the same, all that time ago. Only he didn't have anyone to help him then. |
