Okay since pursuasion is lost on you people I will try a different tact.
lets say roblox has 14,000,000 people (statistic from Buildermans friends) and each place takes up half a Gigabyte, half of 14 million is 7 million and so with places alone roblox has to pay for 7 million gigabytes of storage. lets say it is it is 1p (GBP) a gigabyte a year that is 7,000,000 pennies or £70,000 which by american currency is 108,000 dollars. That is 100,000 dollars alone on paying for Game space to store games. Not play them, Store them. you then add that onto the playing space costs, the employment cost, the development cost, the storage for the website (which also takes a little space) and then theres hundreds of other costs Electricity, security, copyright payment and then from that you take away the money they make on BC Etc.
I think roblox can be forgiven for trying to make a little more money |
