Books are usually way better then the movies! Few exceptions to this statement are as follows: The Devil Wares Prada (movie waay better) Count of Monte Christo (movie waay better)

@Thomas Jacob IS a werewolf. It says in the book. Do you even know what a werewolf is? It is a human that can transform into a "wolf". He does not transform into anything else, so how is he a "shapeshifter"?

ugh, to be more specific, In one of the books theres a story(its been awhile so I don't remember details) that states how his people came to be, and more importantly after that it says there shapeshifters, shape shifters don't have to been mulitple forms, just a human and 1 other form

Another thing In the Breaking Dawn they explain that there are such things as werewolves, but they can turn people into them. Jacob, however, cannot. If you remember the story he told Bella, you would know that his ancestors merged with the giant wolves and gained the ability to WILLINGLY (werewolves are forced) transform into a wolf.

Ahem. Werewolf literally translates into "Man-wolf". Appearance must be half man, half wolf. Kthxbai

Read them all, that way I can critisize without losing my personal integrety. Horribly written, it's almost as if a five year old wrote it. Terrible story, seriously, just look at it. Horrible characters, Jacob is a stalker, Edward is abusive and Bella is just, well, evil. Really evil. She is manipulative, and cruel. She has nothing in common with either of the love intrests, in fact it isn't love. It's another word starting with l and ending in ust. Just awful. The only halfway decent character was her dad, and even then he was still as dumb as anyone else.
