You all know of the Sparkle particle, the Smoke particle, and the Fire particle. Well, how about a Downfall particle?
See, this particle, when put inside a brick, comes out of the BOTTOM of the brick. Let me explain.
First, to help explain, I'm going to type a list of possible properties and their uses.
Color - the color of the particle
SecondaryColor - I'll explain this later, basically gives the particle two different colors
Shape - the shape of the particle. (ex. oval, square)
Speed - the speed of the particle's fall
NumberOfParticles - defines the number of particles which will fall per minute.
Now, let's say you wanted to make confetti for a party place. In the roof, you might insert a Downfall particle. You may set the color to yellow, for confetti, and make the second color pink, so that the confetti can be colorful. You'll probably make the confetti shape square, because that would be realistic. Confetti drifts down slowly, so say the speed should be 5 (just a guess, it may be the lower the number is, the faster it drops). Then, let's say we set the drop number to 1000 particles per minute. Whalla! You have confetti falling from the ceiling.
Now, you may know that the other particles could go through bricks. This one wouldn't be able to pass through bricks. Say you were making rain. You don't won't to walk into a house to find rain dropping through the roof. I don't know about you, but I can't think of a single scenario where this particle would need to pass through a brick that couldn't be fixed by holes in the brick.
I think this particle could be used in several ways. You could make conffeti at a party or rain, as I mentioned above. You could have leaves falling from trees. You could have slime oozing from pipes. Feel free to list more ways you could use this in the comments.
You can also list more possible properties below, such as a Thickness property, in case you want a steady, unbroken stream of liquid. You could have a DissapearanceTime property, for if you want confetti to land on the floor and stay there for a while.
Please be supportive, and if you don't like this, tell me why. Fell free to list improvements or errors. Thanks for reading, and please comment! |

Yayzlers. Now who wants to go for 3? |

The shape property-Is this just a predefined list of shapes, or can you use uploaded images? |

I didn't consider that until after I posted this, but I think it should be both. It would be hard to moderate shapes, however. You may have to pre-upload it as a decal or something. |

I suppose A Thickness propertie could imitate that, as long as you don't expect it to be climb-able. |

A few typos in that post I just made... The "A" shouldn't be capitalized, and I misspelled "property". |

I think it would HAVE to go through parts, or risk extreme lag. |

Not really. It could just disappear or stop falling when it hits a brick. |

Im thinking lag. Something. Bad. o_o |

It didn't lag when they made the Fire particle. |
