ROBLOX is hiring an iPad/iOS engineer who lives and breathes high quality game code. You most likely wrote your first Pac-man knockoff when you were in middle school. You will be part of the team porting the core game client from Windows/Mac OS to iOS for the iPad. We prefer to hire generalists.
You will:
• Work with graphics, user interface, networking, installer, physics, sound, scripting and build system code
• Contribute to developing our rendering, networking and physics engine
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree or higher in CS or similar discipline
• 3+ years experience with hardcore C++ in a production environment
• Experience with Xcode for iOS in a production environment
• Self-starter, comfortable with being lost in a large code base but is able to get stuff done anyway
• Broad experience in game development – you would be comfortable working on any and all parts of our game
• A proven history of achievement – creative, intellectual, academic, and/or professional
