Unable to play in solo

I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I try to play my place in Solo mode but it just crashes and glitches up my computer making the internet run slow/not work. I think that since my place has 4 catapults, the bow&arrow tool, and a giant sword, it lags my computer so much it crashes the whole thing. HALP MEH!!1!
