At the beginning of 2011, Roblox introduced a new feature that allowed users with any type of Builders Club to make places that could only be played/entered by users who also have a Builders Club subscription. Termed "BC-Only Games", many users voiced their complaints about this feature, citing the website's motto "Free online building games" and saying that it was not truthful if you had to pay to play some of the games. In response, Roblox changed it's motto to "Free online and building games".
But Roblox users still do not like the change and
they still protest. They even posted videos against
the update on youtube. The most popular protest is a game
by the banned user SayNOtoBCGames, with over 400 plays
and 500 favorites. About 97% of all roblox users,
including Builders Club members, think that all games
on the website should be able to be played by BC users,
NBC users, and guests.
I am feeling uncomftorbale with the update, too,
because builderman said "No making places that
exclude guests, its against the rules, and mean".
BC-Only games exclude guests, and therefore guests cannot
play BC-Only games.
I would like it if you agree with me
so all games can be played by BC, TBC,
OBC, NBC, and guests, no matter what.

You make a pretty good point here, but you have to take into consideration that less than 1% of all games are BC only, and about 1% of that 1% are games worth playing. That leaves a very large percentage of quality games that are open to all. |

Made some good points there, especially about the guests. I've never agreed with it as I have some nice non BC friends. People say that non BCers are all stupid and don't know how to play so BC games are good, but thats just stereotyping. I find a lot of BCers really arrogant and annoying, that doesn't mean all BCers are like that.
Suppose we shouldn't complain though, the feature isn't going to be revoked so there's no point arguing about it. Smilex is right, most of the good quality games are available to everyone. |

They are putting the tickets-per-visit WAYY up (currently 30 tix per) for BC-Only games, probably because they want to encourage this feature. Although you have to consider this is a company and they have to make money, lots of people like me were convinced and bought BC anyways, before all this happened. If they stopped botching everything for a while, members may actually enjoy ROBLOX and, therefore, get Builder's Club if they want more.

And besides, the majority of most people's friends are NBC. How will they be able to play together if one of them is in a BC-Only game?
Nearly all of my friends are NBC, only a few are BC. |

The mods said "No undoing updates". I am trying to encourage the mods to remove BC Only games without un-doing it. |

No, not really. There's a good amount of protesters, but nowhere near 97% of Roblox.

True. Also, the makers of good BC-only games also usually have a free version of the game. |

Ever notice, how when a user creates 2 versions of the EXACT game, making one BC exclusive, and the other not, the NBC version is waay more popular than the BC version.

no support! i think that bcers should get their money's worth and have games that only they can play and no noobs come in and ruin the fun (one time at the fire sea non bc game, a noob would delete our ships and ruin the fun). |
