Roblox is a fun, epic site, but there are a few ways it could be better. For example, what about adding the abillity to change a brick's state of matter? Now I understand that CanCollide can help us in this area. It gives us the abbillity to chose wether or not you can walk through a brick. An advanced scripter can even animate circles on the surface if a brick touches the water brick. But the only problem is that water, too, has atoms, and every atom takes up space in our universe, and so the water should be rising. Unfortunatley, that is indeed one complex script to try. Your average robloxian would be unable to create such a script. So, the choice of solid, liquid or gas would be incredibly useful to roblox. Now I understand that fog is a gas, but I must point out that fog tends to sit near the baseplate or whatever brick it is on. Even when it rises, it goes through any bricks above it, which gas doesn't tend to do. Don't call me critical, I just like to point out why I think an idea would help.

roblox is trying to be the best physics based game on the internet and this would help roblox with this 100%

this would be revolutionary to roblox. teaching younger kids what solids ,liquids , and gsses are

This has already been suggested, but I still support! --- "roblox is trying to be the best physics based game on the internet " Trying... and failing ---- @00Gravity: Do you have any idea how advanced this would be? You'd have to use _G to create a class via script that creates each type. Each individual class easily exceeding 200 lines, and there would be unimaginable lag if someone was good enough to create it. I'm usually in the Scripters or SH fourm, and I doubt I could do it. There's all kinds of advanced physics equations involved, and each state of matter has its own equations, so you couldn't reuse but (POSSIBLY) equation between each state. Try looking up some of this stuff on wikipedia.

It would be perfect for Non-Scripters... Oh and Liquid should even spread... We would even need a BreakAtom Tool to break the atoms and make the object collapse... Oh and we need even to have a Lightspeed Rocket Thing.... to explore ROBLOX out of the Skybox...

Hmmm Density? If a brick is more dense than a liquid-state brick, then it would go through. If it's less, then it stays on top. If it's matched perfectly, then it wouldnt move.

well, smoke in this game passes through objects. seeing as it would be appreciated that gas is a property, what about fire? Does it not have flaws about its physics in this game? and yea fire is a plasma ._.

Hehehe. There are actually just about 15 states of matter: -Solid -Amorphous Solid, (glass falls under this category, it's not a liquid) -Liquid -Gas -Plasma -Superfluid -Supersolid -Degenerate Matter -Neutronium -Strongly Symmetric Matter -Weakly Symmetric Matter -Quark-Gluon Plasma -Fermionic Condensate -Bose-Einstein, (yes, Albert Einstein) Condensate -Strange Matter Another interesting fact: Robert Bunsen did not invent the Bunsen burner. It was named after him. Wait, where am I going with this...?
