No, there's a glitch where it counts all gear as one and lets you take glitched ones into almost any place; meaning you could have a gun in a place that only allows navigational items.

It counts whatever gear you wear as one. If this happened,I'd be killing everyone in cabin hangout (which only allows socials) with cerulean vengeage
