The cylinder is just a wheel face up. So this is solved.

No, this is not solved. You did not understand a word of what we were talking about.

According to the wiki, this exists. But, like some other great parts, you cannot insert it.

This was made very shortly after my suggestion for wedge part shape options...

It does not list this object anywhere in the wiki. The only thing in the wiki that MIGHT work is the PrismPart, and ONLY if the number of sides can be set to like 50 to round it out enough to even be used as a wheel. This object has not been made yet and will never be made until there's enough support for it. Now, bump I say. Lol.

I'm lovin all of this support. If we keep this up, they'll have no choice but to add the part. It can't be THAT hard. They did the ball and the wedge. I'm sure it'll be easy.

No. That is absolutely what this thread is trying to avoid. We don't want some mesh to make a brick look like a wheel, we want a PART. That link is like trying to stick a wedge mesh in a block. It looks like a ramp, but you cannot walk up it. you CAN walk up a WedgePart, though. That's what this thread is all about. We want a CylinderPart that can be customizable on all 3 size vectors without forcing all vectors to be equal. For example, resizing the part to be 3,1,3. It's 3 studs tall and 3 studs wide, but only 1 stud thick. This is a wheel. A block with a cylindermesh in it wouldn't even roll unless it was set to Ball. Even the stupid Cylinder shape option just acts like a ball by rolling in any direction. A cylinder is only supposed to roll in 2 directions. Next time, please read the thread before you reply. This is not meant to humiliate you in any way, just to educate you on our topic.

I'm actaully surpirised that not many people have suggested this before. I support. Not sure what went through the admin's minds when the thought "Hey let's ad a cylinder part!" "Okay, but make sure it has the physics of a ball!"
