Note how the title is in quotes. It means something. TL;DR at bottom, for you noobs who just read the title. The title explains perfectly what has been happening all over S&I for a while. People are suggesting things that are already being worked on, perhaps even being publicly tested, but these people just don't know about it because Roblox doesn't tell us anything. So what do I suggest? Roblox needs to make another section of the site. I'm not saying something like [whatever].roblox.com, I'm saying just like the Forums are a part of the site, this would be too (roblox.com/[whatever]). This section would be there to tell all of us exactly what's being worked on, and how far into development it is. It would be arranged like this: [title of the update] || [how much work is left to be done] || [what % of it is done] || [ETA] title = what it's called, for example, ROBLOX for Mac, Data Persistence, Official raycasting functions, etc. Yeah, those are all currently being worked on and are probably in their final stages :P -- How much work is left would be measured in NPE (notebook paper equivalent). That means, however many pieces of notebook paper it would take to type up the code and to get all the ideas down and stuff, that's how much work it takes. This would just be an estimate, since Roblox doesn't actually do their programming on paper. If it's not coding or whatever, then it would just be an estimate of how much work is left compared to everything else. -- What % = an estimate of how much percent of the work is done. Kinda obvious. -- ETA is Estimated Time of Arrival. Basically, it would say about when Roblox expects to be done with it. It would be a range of about 3 months, so that the Roblox devs can procrastinate for a while :P This would be how the stuff is sorted, so that we would see what we can expect the soonest at the top of the list. THERE WOULD NOT BE ANYTHING SAYING HOW HIGH THEIR PRIORITY IS. This would just cause raging on how people think they should put more work into stuff that the suggester wants to get done. It's to avoid epic flaming on this forum, which is something that benefits us all. There could also be icons next to certain items if they're being tested on other sections of the site, such as gametest, sitetest, or test.roblox.com. That way, we'd know what they're testing on the other sites (looks at robloxkid08). ===================================================================== ============================= TL;DR VERSION ============================= ===================================================================== IF NOTHING ELSE, READ THE FOLLOWING: ROBLOX should add a new section to the site, something like roblox.com/updates, which would let us see what Roblox is working on, that would have show us stuff like what the update is called, when it can be expected to come, and how much it is done. ===================================================================== Discuss.

This wouldn't be for us to give the comments on the updates, that's what this forum is for. This is just so we know what the heck the devs are doing in Roblox HQ (no, they aren't having chair races).
