ADS FROM ROBLOX ARE POPPING UP AND MY ANTIVIRUS KEEPS REPORTING THREATS! I'VE TESTED THIS ON MULTIPLE COMPUTERS NEW AND OLD! SO I KNOW IT'S NOT JUST ONE PC THAT ALREADY HAD A VIRUS. I EVEN WIPED THE PC, INSTALLED WINDOWS, ANTIVIRUS, ROBLOX, AND NOTHING ELSE EXCEPT UPDATES! YOUR ADS ARE GIVING TROJANS AND MORE. STOP!!!!!

Unfortunately, it seems that roblox cares more about getting the money FROM the ad than actually tracing and observing the ad/website.

the ads have scripts implanted or something in them that lead to other sites via popup which exploit security vulnerabilities to give ur PC trojans, thankfully my PC is blocking all attempts so far. But I know some ppl don't have same anti virus as me. THIS IS THE ONLY SITE IT HAPPENS ON, NONE OTHER.

Roblox uses an external ad source. They do not choose the ads, the ad program chooses it. So a good suggestion is to change ad porviders.

As far as I know, they DO NOT use Google ads. They use their own advertising module which gets ads added from a form you can fill out to get your interactive ad added.

Kids aren't the only people on this website. They don't use Google ads though. They might use something else. All Google ads say "Ads by Google" below them, it's required by Google.

You send your ad to them, not to Google. They wouldn't have an "Advertise with us" at the bottom if they used Google. You would simply sign up with Google and Roblox would get revenue from the ads that get clicked.

some times the ad maker doesent even know hes puting a virus in,he gets a pic from a web sight that happens to have a virus and uses it and bam ad with a virus :|

I do agree but, Roblox really needs the money. For example, let's say YOU made a fun game but not many people bought membership, how would you make your money? If you come up with ways to make more money don't tell me you would freeload. I hate freeloaders.

@pugzy Stop trying to be smart by viewing the source. Google analytics is NOT Google ads. It simply resorts statistics such as page views and what pages are visited most. It is totally seperate code for ads which DOES NOT exist on the Roblox website. I have run websites before and have used Ad Sense. It's different.

same here bro, ive been getting those viruses too, but norton luckilly and just barely stopped the virus. :P roblox has ad issues
