[1] Allow us to lock threads.
So then when Mr. Troll comes in, or you realize you made a mistake and decided that you don't like the thread anymore, you can lock it. Deleting is bad since if you do something bad and delete it, you won't get punished. That's why locks are efficient and fair. The OP can lock his/her own thread.

[2] Allow emotes, forum signatures, bold/italicize/underline.
This can't exactly harm anything and it would be able to show emphasis on emotions or ideas.

[3] Allow users to move threads to different forums.
If you realize you made a post in the wrong forum, then you can move your thread to the appropriate place.

[4] Allow users to delete threads.
If over 75% of viewers of a thread decree a thread as spam by clicking a little checkbox, then the thread is automatically deleted. This will give mods less work. (By the way, there needs to be over 10 viewers.)

[5] Fix floodcheck.
Sometimes it can last up to 30 seconds, other times it only takes 3 or 4 seconds.

[6] Allow us to attach images to our posts.
You should be able to type "[image]Decal URL[/image]" (without quotes) in order to attach a picture. These will have already be made into decals, therefore they will already have been moderator-approved, so it's impossible to attach inappropriate images.

[7] Give us a shortcut for posting.
For example, instead of clicking the "post" button, we should have a keyboard shortcut, like alt+s, or something. Because if we don't have that then we have to scroll down the page which takes soooo muuuuchh timmmme. (I know, lazy, right? :P)

That means we can quote a person, and then either agree or disagree with the
[8] Put a little yellow ":O" face next to the report abuse button.
I know this sounds like a silly idea, but people will pay a lot more attention to things if there's a picture next to it. This will likely increase the number of reports, and therefore decrease the number of inappropriate threads.

[9] Give us a little "Quote" button next to every post.
quote, give feedback to the quote. However, Roblox should filter it so you aren't able to quote inappropriate posts and post the quotes.

[10] Forumer badges.
If you have 10k or more posts, you should get a badge for it. Same with 20k and 30k. I know Top 100 poster feature already exists, but it often gets screwed up, depending on join date.

These are all actually very good ideas, I can't see anything really abusable about them, as long as the images that are posted are only the size of about 4-5 lines of text (clicking them could link to the actual decal) |

I agree with all of these, expect for 3 and 4.
3 can have a band-aid on it but 4 can't have a band-aid.
3: You may move thread to different section but this may only occur once per thread. 4 as said many times cannot have said band-aid.

Tazzus, even though in every way I do not favor you, I cannot say that I disagree with any of these brilliant ideas, though simple. While most others on the Forum are suggesting entirely complicated ideas, you create abuse-free, short and clear ideas that will definitely benefit ROBLOX. Though the Forum configurations are not a requirement, it is very easy to see your view of things through the format of the post, and as I saw it, some of the supposedly insignificant details (such as the :O picture) can actually be very helpful if implemented. |

Okay, that took less time than I thought to read.
[1] Support.
[2] 50% support. Yeah, the bold/underline/italic idea is fine. The forum signature, I'd say is a waste of time to make, but that's just me. I don't understand what's so good about a signature. For the emotes, no.
If you're gonna suggest colors, then I definitely oppose. It would make the forums too chaotic with every post being a different font and color. Same to pictures.
[3] Opposed. It's not worth the money. If you want it in a different forum, just copy and paste.
[4] Support, but didn't you just say that deleting is bad in [1]? :o
Why does it have to have 10 views? I'd say the OP can delete the thread any time they want.
Oh wait. I read it wrong. Nevermind, support. I think it should be atleast... like... 50 views.
[5] If you get floodchecked once, it'll last about 10 seconds. Keep getting floodchecked and it will last 30 seconds. Atleast that's what I experienced.
[6] Opposed. Mentioned this at [2]. It would be too chaotic and unorganised.
[7] Opposed. Waste of money. Plus, it would be easier to spam.
[8] Support. Doesn't affect me, but I guess it makes sense.
[9] I don't understand...
[10] Support. But only 1 or 2 badges. Maybe one at 100 (because judging from the badges that already exist, ROBLOX makes all badges quite easy to obtain.), one at 1000 and one at 5000 3 badges is enough. |
