Yes, I know this game's name ends with "BLOX" but does that mean that it has to be blocky all the time?
No, they made balls, cylinders (although a mesh) and wheels,
I suggest we make more 3 dimensional shapes whom also act like the shape they are and are NOT (<---Notice capitalization) acting like MESHES.
Examples: cones, prisms, torus's (basicly rings), actual pyramids with smooth surfaces (Don't tell me it's makeable, because I'm talking about pyramids without a stair-like outside), bowl (half ball/hollowed out half ball), diamond shape (obviously the 3D version), shapes with dents in them, pyramids with triangular ground, tetrahedrons (basicly pyramids with a triangular ground and the sides evenly long), rhombohedrons (if someone can explain this shape to me, please do, I just stumbled on it on the internet), dodecahedrons, etc.
I think you get the point.
TL;DR
More 3D shapes
Note:
Post if you support, or don't support, also post if you're not sure and tell me why, otherwise you're not helping anyone. Remember to post WHY, especially if you disagree or are not sure. |

All 3D shapes in roblox are meshes. But support anyway. |
|
|
I'm talking about those shapes acting like the shapes they ARE.
Instead of using a stupid mesh that won't satisfy your building needs. |

Oy vey iz mir. What about tursses? Wedges? Spheres? Are those meshes? Are they? -_-"

There ARE more, but ROBLOX never finished them. There's prisms and pyramids and 2 types of ramps that don't work yet. |

@Cobalt
Every virtual 3-dimensional shape is a mesh. |

"Yes they are."

Okay I admit I did make that point clear.
Meh I forgot what my purpose for even posting that was. Ignore it for now until I can remember why I said that, and so I can clarify. I didn't mean how that came out. I know all of them are meshes in essence. But I forgot where I was going with that particular post..
That doesn't normally happen/ |

Huh, well, here comes another shock from thread defibrillator! |

Yes, like that, and alot more kinds shapes. (In one brick ofcourse) |
|
|
Even though they have those shapes in the meshes, the meshes don't even work! |
|
|
The meshes work like this:
The replace the SIGHT of how the brick looks like with a substitute, but the actual brick is still there, so you SEE like let's say a ring, you see a very big hole in it, you try to go through but you can't. Why? Because the physical brick is still there.
That's why I made this suggestion.
(Look at actual suggestion to know what I mean) |

Support. I hate running into the invisible side of a cheap meshed trigon. |
|
|
I understand you completely. What I'm annoyed with is the fact that they have like 5 mesh shapes that don't work. I at least want to be able to see the meshes. |
|
|
btw THE CYLINDER IS A LIE *it's just a ball with a cyliner mesh >:O* |

@zatch
Ikr?
And I hate floodcheck... Lol. |

You can make some shapes....
Like balls :L |
