It seems like ROBLOX has been Bloxxed,everything's changing,first they make over priced hats,then take away _G,then our meshes and sounds,for some good reasons,our player made animations,and make BC-Only places.Theres mostlikly more that I didn't mention,so,how do we fix this?
First,how about having MODs comment about our ideas a bit more,and maybe some put them into action,ASK us before taking out stuff we like,or adding stuff we don't like,you know,to keep people happy?Maybe we can add more things to make groups better and off the war-is-the-only-way idea of groups,maybe being able to go into edite mode with people and chat with them in edite mode.
I DO have some more ideas,but,I'm to lazy to put them down.:3 |

It was a scriping thing,I don't no much about it,I think it Generated things,but lots of people complained about it being gone. |

Change is good. You can't live in the past. ROBLOX never defined if their site was a "Social Networking site" or a "Building site." This means whatever is coming might not have been our idea of a building site, because ROBLOX is not one. If you think the art of building is dying out in ROBLOX, why don't you check out the thousands of great games this site has to offer? |

How about this?
I've noticed that RBLX HQ has been acting on it's own,not like it's not supposed to do that,but I think we should be able to do more,the players,we should be aloud a word in what should be taken away,updated,and made,but RBLX HQ gets the last word in everything.We should at least be a factor. |

Yes,but how about if they make an update and only MB members can fourm and make games?And not ask up people,how would you feel about that?You'd want to ATLEAST get a say in what they do,like _G,people didn't know about it till the script stopped working,and they had a HUGE fourm protest about it,all of the people in the protest where banned and all fourms about it where deleted. |

Don't. EVER EVER EVER talk about soemthing you don't understand. An don't use it as an argument; That's pathetic.
It's made up and therefore no more justifiable than the following quote "All monkeys just disapeared" if we didn't see a monkey in the zoo.
_G was reenabled about a week later. It was disabled for SECURITY RISKS. People could override system functions like print() in people's places (For viruses and the like) and completely trash tonnes of scripts
Also I beleive they could access locked functions through it, but I'm not certain about that.
There's probably more to the security risk than I'm aware of, but it was locked for a good reason. |

"Meshes and sounds"
You're lucky they didn't ban the uploaders.
They were exploiting to upload those meshes and sounds. They abused a bug in the system, and somewhere on the site, either in the ToS or rules or some other official thing, I'm prety sure that it stated that'll get you permad.
Plus, the reason they stopped is:
1) They weren't moderating things since they were exploited in
2) People were uploading cursing sounds and inappropriate meshes and distributing them
Before you say they can be official and make them moderated
1) Sounds have a property to change what depth they're played at, meaning you can make a curse sound like a random noise, then ingame change said property to make it sound the same again- They'd have to do so many things to verify each sound they'd be there for, like, an hour per sound
So that makes sounds completely and utterly impossible
Meshes- They're 3D. Hundreds of assets are uploaded per second. Let's say 5 decals per second and 5 image mods
They have a second to look at each decal- Not that bad, some get through, but yeah, they do a good job.
Now, let's imagine they had 0.5 seconds to spin around a model, zoom in, zoom out, check what it looks like with invertion and offset
Again, proved impossible. |

Also,read the WHOLE thread before commenting about what I said in the first few sentences.All your talking about is the stuff I mentioned that got removed.Not about the idea I proposed. |

_G was a way to make global variables and functions. Anaminus' Script Builder used it. |

Roblox should have a set of "Official" scripts. I mean, person299's is great but breaks alot. MAKE THE DESIGNERS EARN THEIR PAY! Also, BRING BACK RETEXTURE! |

Hats being it expensive is a problem that most people rant about also,not just me. Personally,I don't really care how much hats are,as long as they're not subject able to copy rights. |
