Here are some tips on redusing lag, with explainations on how it helps AND how to do it! I hope this helps! Group Things. This reduses the amount of STUFF in explorer, and scripts which search for things will be quicker because they will know exaxctly where to search! Not only thins, but you will also be able to locate things quicker which cause lag. To do this, hold CTRL and either click all the things you want to group in explorer or in the actul game screen. Mesh Bricks. Not only does this make the game look neater, it makes all the nasty cracks between the bricks (which uses some of the computers memory) dissapear! However, it deletes materials. To do this, go to (Insert > Objects > BlockMesh) to turn a block into a blockmesh or any other mesh if you have another shaped brick. Use Minimum Bricks. It doesn't matter what size your bricks are, because only the amount of bricks matters, the more bricks, the more lag. To Do This, Search for areas where you didn't need to use so many bricks and turn it into less bricks. Anchore Bricks. Only use un-anchored bricks where bricks need to move, otherwise, anchore or you may end up with a tonne of bricks flying everywhere and it will all go horribly wrong. To do this, click the brick you want to anchore and find the 'anchored' property and tick the box. Reduse Decals And Materials. Instead, use surfaces like weld and glue. The higher graphics, the more lag there is, so try and avoid things of extreme detail aswell. To do this, go to properties and change the material to plastic, double click on a side of a brick with a decal and press delete (make sure the edges of the side are orange) and add a surface with properties. Scripts. 1st thing to know is anti-lag scripts are completly usless because they are only scripts, and cannot update the memory space on a computer. Another thing to do is to try and use less scripts. There are things in properties which can make velocity, and someone has made a tycoon game in 1 script. To do this, use advance scripting. (I am not going to write a walkthrough on advance scripting in this post, because this is building helpers.

my place is really laggy but it doesn't apply to any of these rules. mabye because of the zombies? plz reply

Grouping does nothing, unless a reasonable excuse is given for how this reduces lag i shall proclaim it does nothing

New catagory: Movement. Aything which moves, spins, walks, chases, flies etc. will cause lag! This includes players, so remove as much movement as possible. To do this, take away any unessecerry motors or hinges, anchore bricks, remove explosive things, go to players and change the amount to a lower number or remove robots, such as zombies or killbots.
