can you c-frame on an un-anchoured object, or will it just fall to the ground?

You can, if you are in studio, but if the cancollide is checked, it will fall through and disapear.

You must first: 1. Anchor it 2. CFrame it 3. Pause Time (In Studio Mode) 4. Insert a weld script. [The type of weld script varies depending on what you're building, so be specific when choosing (or writing!) one.] 5. De-Anchor it 6. Test it by unpausing time (In Studio Mode) *7* Required ONLY for tools. Go into test mode and try and use the tool. That's it.

If you CFrame an Unanchored Object it will just fall to the ground or it may fall through the ground.

You can in paused game mode. However you cannot CFrame an unarnored brich into another brick or vice-verca
