Lately, I am getting 28-30 FPS. It won't go over 30 FPS. Help me increase my FPS?

I really hope you know what roblox studio is. Anyways, boot RS and then create a new file. Goto the tools drop-menu in the top toolbar, then goto settings. Yes, it says to only go here if directed by a roblox engineer, but I'm close enough anyways. XD If you goto rendering settings or something, you can decrease the amount of rendering, such as keeping ambient shadows off, or decreasing overall quality. Oh, and you can change a few extra things too. One last tip if you don't know anything I said or if that doesn't work, try to close all running programs except roblox, or just try playing simpler games...or GUI games, they don't require 3D rendering so that saves roblox alot of work, they just have to grab images (or not even any images) from the server.

Read the first post. It has your graphics card listed as too old. Get a new one. Also, 28-30 FPS is good enough. It's what I'm getting, and it's fine.

You could just set Windows to adjust for best performance. Your Windows will not look as pretty, but it will run things a little faster. -To do this-go to your Windows control panel, and click on System. -Then click on advanced system settings, and then under Performance click on settings. In the performance options window choose Adjust for best performance, then click apply then ok. - Change graphic settings to “medium” or “low” – it will significantly increase FPS rate and make the game run more smoothly. - Turn off “antialiasing” in the graphic card and game settings. -Turn off Vertical Synchronization, triple Buffering and Advanced Post Processing. But to be honest, I don't know why you are complaining. 20-30 is a medium Frame Rate and that's actually not that bad.

You should be complaining if you are getting like 10-20 fps which is what i get but i deal with it.

Get a new computer. You have DDR2 on your graphics card, so you probably cant increase it. 28-30 fps is acually amazing, considering my computer is old and does not have a graphic card. I am getting around 4-10 fps.

Are you using the HP pavilion a6700f? If so, that's your problem. I own one, you need to upgrade its graphics card. I upgraded mine to the GTX 750 Ti, but it's your budget and choice, pal, and replace that 1.8 GHZ stuff to something with 2 GHz.

And don't worry about having to replace your motherboard, (I would recommend it, though.) it comes with a PCI Express slot for your card.

Oh my god, so many idiots here. If you want better FPS and quality, get a newer graphics card. If you just want more FPS and less quality, go to roblox studio, click on file, settings, render and adjust some things. - and tips his hat

XD That is exactly the same as mine! I have found some solution's to fixing my FPS, but only a tiny bit. One, lower your Graphic settings when playing the game. Two. Update your video card at NVIDIA.com (its free) If you are very desperate to get it working, then buy a brand new gaming video card for 'bout 150 bucks. (belive me its worth it)

Don't worry everyone, I have come up with a solution! 1.Turn your computer off. 2.Take the case off. 3.Get a hammer. 4.Get a banana 5.Peel the banana completely and place it around the computer hardware. 6.Smash all the metal stuff. 7.Get a gasoline. 8.Get a liter. 9.Pour gasoline all over the smashed parts. 10.Turn the lighter on and make it touch the metal. 11.Wait for at least a day. 12.Put your case back on. 13.??? 14.Profit I hope you all tried and enjoyed my solution 'cause other then that you're going to have to reel in money to buy high-end(I don't think high end graphics cards are needed for roblox lol) to get a good looking roblox and a high fps!!!Hope you enjoyed. :)

Why are people still on this ancient thread. "Posted by ditto987 on 04-22-2011 07:53 AM" Anyway, get a GTX 750, it will fix all things.

Could be your processor or lack of memory (RAM). In some large roblox games (Ex. Tradelands) I only get about 20 fps on the lowest roblox graphics and highest. I'm running a GTX960 4gb and there should be at least 40 fps with my GPU. Other than that, it'd be ROBLOX's optimizing issues and there is no fix. Come on fight me! Put me up! Drop the gloves! Fight me! Fight me! That's what I thought.
