It's roblox version, genius. >_>
But with the work of some after effects and filming the scene a bunch of times will work out good. I mean if you learn how portals work in the game, you can make an exact replica of the game in roblox as a film format. All the portals do visually is creating extra camera to render the room.
Basically the rendering works like this:
Orange portal transmitting > Blue portal Displaying, and vice versa.
Now to pull off the teleporting effect exactly like the game is going to be ridiculously hard, since essentially you just go to another room that looks the same. |

If you didn't read the title it says Portal 2. It needs to look like the game Portal. The portal gun is the most important part. |

If you didn't notice, this is roblox.
I've seen so many parodies that don't look like the original at all, but still were pretty good, just to pull off this time of movie would require a lot of effort to achieve this.
And besides. why isn't it like the portal gun in the game? I seen free models of portal guns that are exactly like from the game, just the thing is they are not functional. |

Wow another challenge?
I just finished 8 animations in one day, and you want to give me challenges. LUCKY ME!
By parody I meant something as close to the real thing, but yet this is "Portal2: MOVIE". It's like Harry Potter, they don't put everything detailed in the book at Harry Potter, I read the first few pages of the 5th book, and it starts with Harry hiding from his Uncle and his Aunt, but the movie does not detail that, it starts with the near end of the summer vacation when his cousin was attacked by dementors after Harry's cousin picked on somebody.
And the first 3 games of the series(yes games) aren't even taking place in hogwarts as it should have been. Only in the 5th game the entire castle was introduced as is in the movies.
Look what I am trying to say, some things are changing when someone is making a version of this in a different format, portal 2 is about puzzles, but it ain't gonan work in the movie, you don't want to see Chell doing these puzzles for 10 hours and only barely 2 hours are focused on the canon of the series.
In the movies, you want the audience to feel the story and the visuals as well as the characters.
In puzzle games, you want to make the player think with his best to figure out a puzzle.
In a book, you need hilariously amount of vocabulary just to set a certain scene.
So things MUST change in order to re-format anything. |

This isn't worth this. It isn't even worth fighting about. If your going to make a Portal 2 movie you need a Portal 2 looking and acting gun. There isn't that yet in ROBLOX. End of story.
Also, this guy won't even make the video. Face it Sonic. He wants people to dress up as GLaDos and Wheatly. Is it worth it? I'm not going to read your essays. |

Fine then, I'll jsut write an essay for the rest of the people.
Look there is a little editing magic, you can make unfunctioning portal gun to functional portal gun, as well as acting like one. That we have a model is good enough start.
They did that in harry potter, those aren't really wands, they are actually sticks with light coming out of them. |

Dont mind bobbysayhi, he just disses everybodies ideas no matter what. Dude, this is roblox, and the Portal 2 movie wont have to look exactly like the real thing. This is freaking ROBLOX, WE LOOK LIKE FREAKIN BLOCKS GLUED TOGETHER. Your expectations are too high. And about Wheatley and GLADoS, Morphs. Glados may be hard, but you could easily do Wheatly. |
