Whats so bad about rap? It's another form of music. It's poetry put in music, how can you not see that? The new stuff isn't that much of rap, it's more Rap mixed with Hip-Hop. Tupac, Eazy-E, Biggie, Ice Cube, Jay-Z, and T.I. have examples of true rap. |

Where I am it's mainly rap and maybe a little pop here and there. So really, it's just me and a few of my friends who are rock~addicts (totally describes me...) Whenever I listen to metal or rock, there's usually SOMEONE there to say "Why do you listen to that stuff? It's just like... 'AHHHRRRRGHHHHH!!!' all the time, so I don't really understand why you like it..." So I wish there were more metalheads here :\ |

well this is how i found out that i hated rap. First in 5th grade i wasn't really a metalhead. I liked rap and pop. (i regret listening to pop.) i wanted to listen to rap but everytime i listen ot a rap song i just end up not liking it. Until i found metal and all that stuff. So yea i think that proves someone has there own music to listen to..and i found mine.. |

All up until 5th grade, I liked things such as Hilary Duff, Hannah Montanna, and other pop singers/ bands (...don't say anything >_<). I hated rap. But then, I heard Linkin park so I got into Rock, and a little rap. Someone I met on roblox named Calebets got me into Metallica even more, and so I tried out other Metal bands. My friend in real life got me to listen to rap a little, and I thought it was ALRIGHT. There are a few rap songs that are nice, but mostly I don't like that genre very much. This is how I found out I hated rap... Theres this radio station you know virgi* radio ok so they replay most of all there songs and so they make no sense and there very gross like as in " ooooohhh touch me baby again!" and then the man says " Baby your so fine Ill touch you again!" ewwwwwwwwww gross right? so this why it is annoying to play those back and listen to them over and over again I want to listen to a song were I can keep listening to it and plaing it over and over again and I dont get bored of it. So you see my point. EH!!!!! |

Kids at my old school( I moved recently ) used to beat me up for liking ANY type of rock and hating rap. I also had no friends (except for CraazieRabbid.Yes I know him in real life) just because I'm white.Every year at the talent show, I wanted to hide in the bathroom because all they would ever play was rap.At my new school, kids actually appreciate rock/metal/grunge,ETC.

I listen to all the GOOD stuff. Let me say, rap is a close tie with reggae as the worst music ever. However, some rap IS good. biggie smalls, I can handle some of his work. Fort Minor isnt bad. But tahts about it.
