I'm not saying that family guy should have never been made because a wise man once said "just because someone makes a chair doesn't mean someone else can't make another chair"

I will definetely say The Simpsons is better. For one, Family Guy is a much worse show (in adult content) and has stupid humor. For a lot of reasons that I will say: 1) Peter and Homer are both overweight and dumb. 2) Lois and Marge are both housewives. 3) The Griffins and the Simpsons both have 3 children, both with their 3rd child being a baby. 4) There are both dogs, although Brian talks and Santa's Little Helper cannot and isn't on the episodes as much as Brian is. 5) Homer and Peter both have weird best friends. 6) Both shows are on FOX. Those are the reasons I think that Family Guy is a total copy of The Simpsons.

and, in the final star wars family guy, peter was making fun of seth green, voice of chris, and then chris turned it around on him and started making fun of seth macfarlane, creator of family guy. meg and lois both admitted that family guy was a rip off of the simpsons. just watch the end of that episode. i have no further input.
