"We all do, waltzing into battle will get us killed...we need tactics" I say looking over to Rickayov. "I assume you have a practise range or something?" I asked mimicking holding a gun. #
"Yeh, target range, shooting range, heavy weapons range...you name it" He replied with a nod. |

"Lets get started then?" I say questioningly. "The sooner the start the better I would imagine." |

"Well i leave it to you to lead the way" I glance over to Rickayov who nodded whilst shutting down the projector.
"If you would like to follow me" He asked as he opened the door and waited. |

I nod at Rickayov, moving away from the projector slowly before turning and walking out the door. |

I shuffled out the door, pausing to turn around and wait for the others. I mumbled over the plan a few times to try and get it into my head, it was still a practical suicide mission whichever way you looked at it. |

Once we had all filed out the room, I began to follow Rickayov through the hallways, going ever everything we had discussed in my head. |

The hallways were rather blank, everyone who wandered past gave us various looks, some obvious and some not.
We were led outside onto a tarmac strip lined with concrete barriers, and past that large ominous steel fences topped with barbed wire, every so often there was a watchtower with a man inside.
It was pelting with rain pretty hard, our nice new clothes were soon sopping wet. |

Walking through the corridors I run over the plan in my head a couple of times, trying to convince myself it was full proof and I had no reason to worry over it.
We started walking outside and with the rain pouring down my clothes were soon dripping. I look over to Stephan and wave my hands around in exasperation. |

We trudged along the long tarmac path, occasionally lit up by a blinking orange light to signify where it was safe to actually walk as large trucks were busy doing whatever it was they were doing. The hum of activity filled the air over the sound of thrashing rain as we neared a large domed building with curved metal and canvas scaffold forming the roof and smaller metal struts forming the base.
Inside was dry apart from footprints where people had tracked in the rain, the large circular space was filled with various targets and ranges, only occupied by a few soldiers at the far side firing some rounds off. |

I speed up my strides when I see a building loom up in front of us, trying to get out of the pouring rain as quickly as possible.
Once inside the structure I let out a small sign of relief and shook my hair a little, to dislodge some of the water that had collected in it. |

The striking of rain was audible on the canvas type roof, echoing slightly through the vast area. I took a moment to glance over everything.
"Im sure you guys know what to do from here, ill be around if you need me" Rickayov said as he turned and walked for the door. I gave a vague nod back and took a few steps forward. |

I huff a little at my wet clothes before glancing around and saying hesitantly "Lets get started then?" |

I turn around to the group. "Dean, Ramez, Cole...you go do what you want" I dismissed them, pointing at each of them in turn then i turn to Lauren. "We need to get you comfortable with a gun...because there are going to be lots of them" I explained, glancing around at any free ranges. |

I laugh a little nervously, shuffling my feet around. "I don't think I'll ever be very comfortable with them, Stephan, but I know what you mean." I say. |

I nodded slowly and moved to a row of black metallic boxes nearest to us, flicking open the 2 latches caused the lid to slide out and a rack of weapons to ascend upwards slightly. "Take your pick" I said gesturing to the guns. The larger ones were on the bottom of the rack, and they got gradually smaller until the top one, which was about the length of my forearm. |

I stand there for a couple of seconds, unsure of which to pick. Eventually I grabbed one from middle and turned to Stephan. |

"Nice choice" I complimented and took one from the top and shifted it up to my shoulder.
"Now for ammo" I swivelled around and sure enough there was another box, opening it revealed a similar setup to the gun box, only with ammo clips. |
