Having a little trouble... I downloaded Wine and that stuff you're supposed to, but I ran into a problem... It simply won't let me download because I'm not on Windows. It just says "You can only download Roblox on Windows operating systems". How do you guys download it anyway?

You have Linux or Ubuntu? If so, you ROBLOX doesn't support those systems. So, if you want to play ROBLOX, I recommend you get a new computer like Windows 7, Windows Vista Home Premium, or Windows Vista Ultimate (I have.) If you keep Ubuntu or Linux, you won't have a chance to play ROBLOX. I understand that Linux and Ubuntu are great systems, but I guess ROBLOX doesn't support it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Or you could install Windows or Mac on that computer.

That's what I did. Get the CD from the store. I originally had Windows Vista Home Premium then I had a black box from 2006 and it said Windows Vista Ultimate. I just installed it and my computer is fast and smooth and fast as a cheetah. I removed all the bananas (junk) from my Windows Vista Home Premium. I now have 8GB of space in my computer :3

@Visual Please be more helpful... And yes, it's been done. Some Linux gurus can use Wine (A program that helps run Windows only crap on Linux) and other stuff and play Roblox on Ubuntu, ect. I've seen it done.

Trust me, Linux / Ubuntu doesn't support ROBLOX. Read it on their blog under the Mac BETA Section: http://community.roblox.com/ - Archeous

Seeing as Roblox has been successful in the porting of their software to Android, (which is, albeit remotely, based upon Linux), I would expect them to port it to Linux too. Wine is a great tool, but doesn't work too well for gaming. It's really just great with a few select apps, which can be sniffed out on WineDB. Otherwise, I wouldn't try Wine if it didn't have a good rating on WineDB for the application you're trying to use. Your only option is Virtual Box, which is really only going to work for you if you have a good amount of RAM and a good CPU. If not, you're kinda screwed.

try going to roblox.com/install/default.aspx if that doesn't work, then try downloading the install on a freinds computer and copy it onto a flash drive
